Planning is in!

Suvana’s cocreators are excited that the planning application for our new community has been submitted!

Our development partner TOWN - with their partners Hill Group, Homes England, Mole Architects and others - has applied to Greater Cambridge Shared Planning for permission to build a new neighbourhood in Northstowe near Cambridge which features two cohousing communities, one of which is Suvana!

To coincide with the planning submission, Suvana has launched the Join Suvana Pack for potential buyers. This provides a great deal of rich information (easier to digest than the planning application!) about the community and homes, and invites our cocreators to apply to become part of the community and to make informal reservations for a plot. 

If you are a cocreator, do check your inbox for the pack (sent on 24th November 2025), or just email us to ask for it again. There have been two online Q&A meetings to go through the pack, but please get in touch if you’d like to talk about it or have questions. The Q&A meetings were recorded and are accessible to all cocreators.

If you aren’t yet a cocreator, there’s still time to join us! If you join as a cocreator and submit your application form before 4th January 2026, you will get priority over any applications that are submitted at a later date.
