Reservations are open

Since developer TOWN submitted the planning application at the end of November 2025, it’s been a busy and exciting time for everyone involved with Suvana.

Alongside the application, we launched the Join Suvana Pack, and by the 4 January 2026 deadline for the initial submission round we received applications from 17 households. 

Following review, the Coordination Group’s Joining Kula has now confirmed informal reservations on specific properties (plots) for 15 households who wish to proceed as soon as homes become available.

There are still many plots available if you’d like to be part of the Suvana community.

The co-designed plans include 35 homes — a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom houses, alongside 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments — all supported by a range of shared spaces and communal facilities.

Community life

Over the past two months, Suvana cocreators have continued to find ways to gather and deepen connection.

Our first Suvana Practice Day in January brought together 18 cocreators for meditation, simple collective rituals, small group conversations, and plenty of relaxed time over delicious food.

Our regular social get-togethers have also been lovely opportunities to have fun and get to know one another — with the festive afternoon tea in December especially bringing the spirit of community alive.

The next social gathering is at the beginning of March.

Upcoming events

All cocreators are warmly encouraged to attend the three workshops planned by TOWN (see events page).

These sessions offer opportunities to build understanding of the project, influence its development, and strengthen relationships — both with fellow cocreators and with our partners at TOWN, complementing the regular weekly meetings between the Coordination Group and the developer.

Remember too that all cocreators are welcome to attend the separate weekly Coordination Group meetings.

Finally, we’ve been delighted to welcome 10 new cocreator households over the past two months — welcome to you all!
